The rim dropper is a dosage aid for liquid products and can be used amongst others for the (indirect) peroral taking in the field of self-medication. Concerning the dropping property, rim droppers cover a wide range of liquids and possess a high insensibility of solids as they often appear in herbal preparations. For dropping the dropper has to be kept in an angle of about 45°. The accuracy to be expected depending on the liquid’s viscosity is at +/- 20%. |
